In response to the deepening humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, our club has elected to commit 50% of our “Vacation With A Cause” fundraiser proceeds to support the many crisis needs. The Costa Rica school will receive the other 50% of net proceeds, the inspiration for this fundraiser. We still have tickets available. Help us help Ukraine! We have three official channels through which our collective contributions will flow; Rotary Foundation Disaster Relief Fund, Shelterbox, and World Central Kitchen.
More than 2 million people have fled Ukraine and are in dire need of emergency aid. The United Nations estimates that number could grow to as many as 5 million people displaced. Rotary clubs in Europe and around the world have stepped up their relief work, some working on the ground to help displaced families.
Donors around the world are contributing funds to support the relief efforts underway by numerous Rotary districts. With your support and our collective contributions, we will empower those on the front lines to help make a difference!

HOW ROTARY MAKES HELP HAPPEN
We take action to empower educators to inspire learning at all ages.
Our goal is to help strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. We support education for all children and literacy for children and adults.
The global support from the Rotary International network is the cornerstone upon which ShelterBox is built.
ShelterBox is a humanitarian aid charity program that hand-delivers aid to families devastated by conflict or natural disaster, to give them safe shelter and the tools to rebuild communities. Worldwide disaster areas have been served by delivery of thousands of ShelterBoxes containing the essentials families need to begin rebuilding their lives after disaster.
There are many types of fellowships, grants and scholarships that a student can apply to for college funds. Varied and generous, a Rotary Club scholarship can offer significant financial aid for the right candidate. A student who is helping to make the world a better place in a number of ways is an ideal candidate for a Rotary Club scholarship.
We help educate and equip communities to stop the spread of life-threatening diseases like polio, HIV/AIDS, and malaria. We improve and expand access to low-cost and free health care in developing areas.
